We had such a busy summer I didn't have much time to blog. Now as my schedule gets back to normal I am working to get caught up. We spent some time the middle of June up at my parents house in the mountains. We were able to spend the day at Yosemite and then another day up at Wawona--two of my favorite places. I think our day at Wawona for my mom's birthday tops as one of our favorite days this summer. More summer posts to come....
I think the number one thing on my mind most of the time....the passing of time. I just can't get my head around how fast it goes. It seems like just yesterday I used to walk my kids around this little lake, feed the ducks and ride the paddle boats, but yet it's a lifetime ago. The other day I spent the morning with Will and his mom at the lake, it brought back so many memories, and I am happy I had the opportunity to capture a few for her.
Baby Will is growing up to be the sweetest little boy.
Slow down a little time, just a little ok?
Early June we had a four hour layover in Salt Lake City on the way to see my sister in Washington. Lucky for us Summer and Crystalyn live in Salt Lake. So happy they took the time to pick us up for a small adventure to see the lake. It was SO good to see them and catch up. Fours hours didn't actually equal four hours but we did end up with about an hour together--a heck of a better option then sitting at the airport. In that time carved out a even smaller time to make a few photos.
Summer and I pulled about 5 minutes out of our time together and paired the images. You can see our collaboration over at the 5 minute project blog. It was fun to see that even if we were shooting the same exact spots, the images turned out unique to each photographer yet work together to tell a story of our time together. Kinda fun.
I will be planning four hour layovers in Salt Lake again. xo
