This summer went by so fast. Time passes too quickly. Sometimes it's all I think about. It's like I am taking a ride, holding on for dear life....
Till the day this ride stops, we reach the other side and my kids are all grown up.
I am always anxious for summer. Will we fill our days? Will the kids be bored? Always, we settle into summer, loving it's freedom and the weight of school demands lifted. And we are always sad to see it go.
Then the school days return, and the routine of life sets back in. It's not all bad, these quieter days and busier nights. Time speeds back up again, life becomes faster pace and sometimes more grueling. I paid for this ticket and I will enjoy this ride.
A collection of photographs taken this summer. When my girl wore her pink stripped suit almost everyday. There is just nothing like being underwater to quiet the mind and just let go.
From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free. [Jacques Yves Cousteau]
