I can't believe the year is almost half way through. This year has been a quiet one for me. Lots of soul searching and trying to bring my life back to what's important. With that, I decided to try to take a picture a day, yes another 365 project. I have been inspired by so many in the past, always wanting to try it myself. So this year I just thought I would give it a go. Just day by day and see how it went. At first I wasn't fully committed. Then I started to really enjoy the process and how it was "just for me". Now as we have reached the midpoint of the year, I must admit, it does get pretty hard some days--but I am fully committed now. And at the point where I am ready to share.

With gratitude and trust I point my camera at something every single day. And as the year unfolds, and I look back, I get so excited that I have marked everyday with a photograph. Wishing and hoping I make it 365.

Sometime in your life you will go on a journey.  It will be the longest journey you have ever taken.  It is the journey to find yourself.  [Katherine Sharp]
