Personal work.

I have loved photography since I was young, but it was when my babies were born that inspired me to grow as a photographer. Taking photos has always helped me remember, but I've learned it's not just the photograph years later that helps me recall the memory; it's the act of taking the image I never forget. I still remember taking this black-and-white photograph of my kids; it was the day I learned about light and the importance of timing. The people in my life, and the places I've been, inspire my creativity and shape who I am as a photographer. Making personal work is my life-long project and an important part of my process.
