These are the moments you’ll want to remember.

The days are long, the years are short.

Nothing is more true about the time we have as a family. It’s fleeting and precious. Making photographs for families is more than just a Christmas Card; it’s about celebrating connection and creating an experience you’ll never forget. Where are you in your story? Let’s document the moments that tell it—photographs you’ll love and cherish for years.

A creative & meaningful portrait experience for families in and around Southern California.

Our photos bring tears to my eyes.

I love seeing our gallery of images every year - such a pleasure—it brings tears to my eyes! I don't know how you do it, but year after year, you can capture my kids' personalities in an extraordinary way, it is such a treat to work with you!

Reserve your date.

A quick phone call is the best way to go over details and get a feel for working with me. I photograph weekdays for fewer crowds and only offer occasional weekend sessions, so it’s best to reserve your session early. Once we know we are the right fit, a $300 session fee will hold your date. From selecting your location and discussing clothing options—I work closely with my clients from the beginning.

The Photo Session.

A portrait session is an experience you will always remember. I love working with families to create relaxed sessions that feel good. Sessions start before sunset or first thing in the morning—somewhere meaningful to you. Your home is always a great choice, maybe the beach or a rural location. We’ll work together to find just the right spot. Come ready to be yourself and have a good time!

Ordering made simple.

Around two weeks after your session, you’ll receive a gallery slideshow and select a collection. Collections are custom-built with a mix of image files and products, starting at $795. The goal of our time together is something you can hold—tangible, heirloom-quality artwork and custom-designed albums. Portrait photography is a significant investment, so all my products are archival and built to last generations.

Leah delivered exactly what I was hoping for and more!

The session was the perfect intersection of Leah’s photography skills, intuitiveness and easy going personality. She has the skill to wrangled pre-schoolers and reluctant husbands alike! It was our first session with her, and it won’t be our last!

What you do with your images is the most important aspect to consider when planning for a photo session, but often it’s the aspect that's overlooked. You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photographs on a screen as you do seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album, so I include a substantial print credit with every collection. And because I really want you to have an album—I’ve included it in my top collection.

Now is always the perfect time.

The day my first son was born, my grandfather told me—today, you are changing diapers, and in a blink, you'll be watching them graduate. He was right. This time with our kids flies by.

I know what it's like to make excuses, especially when it comes to being the one photographed—I'll wait till next year when I lose a few pounds or after my son gets his braces off. But then the time comes, and there are only new excuses—before you know it, the youngest has grown three inches, and now the daughter's the one in braces.

No one ever regrets taking the time to get professional photographs, but so many wish they would have. I know your time is valuable, and being in front of the camera takes work. That's why I help my clients from start to finish, creating a relaxed and comfortable session and helping you tell your story through beautiful albums and framed artwork.

What she has is a gift!

With two very wiggly young children, my husband and I were quite nervous. Our very shy daughter warmed up to her quickly. Leah was extremely patient and very professional. Leah is so talented. She truly takes beautiful, beautiful photos.

Over the years, I'm grateful to have been photographed by amazing photographers. One day, it hit me—I remember the details of every time I've been photographed. The day this photograph was taken was a favorite—these days matter. It's why I believe sessions should be relaxed and genuine, but, more importantly, it's why we need to make time for them.

I've enjoyed capturing families at all the beautiful stages for over 15 years. I love making honest photographs and celebrating natural connections in a creative way.

With a degree in interior design, I help clients find the right spot for their framed heirloom prints and create custom-made albums they'll love for generations. There is no better time to document your story—now is always the best time.

I’m so happy you like what you see and what to connect.
