Lightroom Presets

Inspiring edits for over a decade.

Many years ago, I grew bored of using presets and actions by others and started playing with scratch edits. It wasn’t long before I was asked how I edited my photographs, and before I knew it, I was making tools to help other photographers edit their images in simple and beautiful ways. I found making presets like a puzzle, creating settings that would work on multiple photos in various lighting situations. Over 12 years ago, I designed The Original Lilyblue Action Set, which features super popular “honey” action. It’s since been archived—if you’re interested, please contact me.

Today, I spend much less time editing and have found that almost everything can be done in Lightroom; I rarely open Photoshop. In 2015, I started teaching photographers to improve their shooting, editing, and workflow using Lightroom in my online class, The Simple Edit. If you want to learn more about Lightroom, refine your edits, and find more time in your life—this class is right for you. Each student receives a set of The Illuminate Presets with tuition.

I love helping photographers find their way to a simple edit—getting them off their computers to make more time for what’s most important.
